Photographed in our Plymouth, Michigan studio, we welcome families from throughout Metro Detroit, including Northville, Novi, and surrounding areas for sitter sessions, first birthday portraits, and milestone memberships that beautifully capture your baby’s growth and emerging personality.
Our baby and milestone photography style is classic and understated, focusing on your baby’s natural expressions and delicate features with minimal props or distractions, resulting in elegant portraits you will cherish for years to come.
What is a milestone session?
Unlike newborn photography, baby milestone sessions focus on babies who are alert, expressive, and interacting with the world around them. These sessions are typically scheduled at key developmental stages and photographed in a relaxed studio environment to create timeless, heirloom-quality portraits.
Sitter Sessions
Sitter sessions are usually photographed when a baby can sit independently, most often between 6–9 months. At this stage, babies are naturally curious and full of expression, allowing us to capture genuine smiles, soft details, and beautiful eye contact.
First Birthday Portraits
First birthday sessions commemorate an incredible milestone: one full year of growth, change, and love. These portraits focus on your baby’s expressions, interactions, and developing independence like standing, walking or crawling.

Your baby’s first year passes in the blink of an eye. The Milestone Membership is thoughtfully designed to document each beautiful stage of your baby’s first year from newborn snuggles to sitting milestones, and their very first birthday. This membership creates a cohesive collection of portraits that tell the story of your baby's first year.
Only 8 memberships are available per year. Advanced reservations are required to ensure availability for your baby.

Signature Portrait Experience
Family Milestone Session
Your baby's first year will fly by in the blink of an eye. Capture the tender moments of your growing family with a custom photoshoot experience designed to be stress-free, and result in timeless family portraits you will cherish for years to come. This session includes individual portraits of baby, as well as the whole family for a diverse gallery that can be beautifully displayed in an album or gallery wall.
The Family Milestone Session Fee includes:
- Pre-photoshoot styling & design consultation
- On-site professional hairstyling and makeup artistry for mom
- Studio family portrait session with multiple outfits
- Parent, sibling, and grandparent participation included
- Unlimited outfit changes

Milestone Sessions
Milestone Mini
These simplified studio sessions are designed to preserve your little one’s growing personality and fleeting expressions through timeless, refined portraits you’ll treasure for years to come. Can be used for a sitter session around 6-9 months, or a first birthday session around 12 months.
Milestone minis are offered once per month on a predetermined date. Availability is limited, and reservations are first come, first serve.
